Recent Grant Successes
As a proven fund development professional with more than 25 years of experience, I am proud to share some of the recent successes I’ve supported in driving transformative, sustainable change for communities and organizations I believe in. For example, in Central Falls these wins have included, but are far from limited to:

Veterans Memorial Park: $1.8 million invested to transform an abandoned VFW building into a vibrant public park.
McKenna Center for Teaching, Learning, and Research: $1.8 million to repurpose a historical property into a hub for education and research.
Macomber Stadium:$3.8 million secured for significant upgrades and improvements.

Central Falls Fire Department: Over $2.5 million secured, including:
$600,000 for two new ambulances
$500,000 for a new fire truck
$550,000 for increased staffing
$168,000 for training
Over $500,000 for critical equipment upgrades
Central Falls Police Department: Over $2.5 million secured, including:
$337,000 School Violence Prevention Program grant (highest ranked in the country)
$1.2 million COPS staffing grant
Funding for new cruisers

Affordable Housing:
$2.8 million HUD Economic Development Initiative grant to repurpose the former Osram Sylvania plant into affordable housing.
$1 million RI Housing grant for the "Jenks Park Residence" affordable housing project.
El Centro Community Center:
$9 million from RI Pandemic Recovery Office grant
$2 million USDA grant for the initiative (over $13 million secured to date)

Tennis Courts Initiative: Over $300,000 secured in partnership with USTA New England, USTA National, RI Department of Environmental Management, and Neighborhood Health Plan to build tennis courts in Central Falls, previously the only municipality in Rhode Island without them.

Central Falls Public Safety Complex: $3 million FY24 Congressionally Directed Spending investment for public safety complex improvements
